We recommend holding off on enrolling in DCA if any of the following describe your current stage of business: 

• You don’t have an audience and have not started building your email list. DCA does not dive into beginner-level foundations of list-building, creating a lead magnet, and promoting your opt-in. 
• You’re looking for a quick way to make money or immediate passive income. Digital course-creation is a lengthy process that’s only for entrepreneurs committed to the process of building a high-value digital course for their students. Put simply, you have to be willing to put in the work. 

If you are just getting started with your list building efforts or your list size is less than 250 subscribers, we recommend committing time to work on your email list before jumping into DCA. We offer a separate list building course for those who are just starting out called List Builders Society. It truly depends. 

Some of our best students came into our programs just beginning their online business journey. We’ve also had longtime “veterans” use our programs to FINALLY create a sustainable and automated income stream through digital courses and webinars. Resilience and perseverance are really the only common denominators between all our successful students. 

Digital Course Academy makes  NO assumptions of your current skill level as it relates to course creation. That’s why we completely map out the entire process of creating and selling a digital program A-Z. 

Whether you’re somewhat new to the online world or you’ve been at this a while, the difference maker will ALWAYS be your willingness to stay the course, trust the process, and ask the questions needed to move you forward with confidence.

That being said, if you are a beginner entrepreneur, we recommend having an email list of at least  250 subscribers before jumping into the program. This is the best way to ensure you can hit the ground running within DCA and eventually sell your course to a sizable audience ready to buy

But more specifically, you can have a digital course in addition to your serving clients 1:1. If you want to keep working directly with clients, you’ll find you have much more freedom to choose how you work.  

You can also just as easily have a business model where your digital course is the star of the show. It’s absolutely up to you. 

Bottom line though, if you want to grow a business that “scales” without sacrificing your time, health, and well-being to do so, then DCA will show you exactly how to do it.

One of the best parts of running a digital course business is that the tech learning curve is extremely low compared to other types of online businesses.

That said, you’ll be getting software recommendations for your course creation process. All of the tech recommendations are made based on ease of use and effectiveness. 

To make sure tech is never an obstacle for you, you’ll get access to a complete tech library, giving you super detailed, step-by-step walkthroughs and time and money-saving hacks. The tech library covers everything from landing pages, to membership areas, to email sequences and so much more! 

As long as you’re willing to put in the effort and follow along with the lessons, tech will NEVER be an obstacle for you inside of DCA. 

There is no one set answer to this question. In fact, it is almost impossible to answer because every Digital Course Academy student starts from a different place and has their own unique circumstances and experiences. 

On average, we recommend allotting 3-5 hours every week to watching the course modules and implementing what you learn. Depending on which phase of the process you’re in, you may need to devote more or less time in a week to DCA. 

Should you get behind, or encounter circumstances that take your attention away from DCA, remember that once you enroll you have lifetime access including all future updates to the core content of the program. Building a successful online business doesn’t happen overnight so we always support you in moving at your own pace.
